"Now devote your heart and soul to seeking the Lord your God. Begin to build the sanctuary of the Lord God, so that you may bring the ark of the covenant of the Lord and the sacred articles belonging to God into the temple that will be built for the Name of the Lord.”-1 Chronicles 22:19

"And Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the town of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David, to be registered with Mary, his bethrothed, who was with child." (Luke 2:4-5) Christmas Day is fast approaching. Let's keep the true meaning of Christmas in our hearts. We'd love to have you join us for our services this week at 130 Community Road! Sunday School assembly begins at 9:45 a.m. and we have classes for all ages. The lesson for the Adult classes this week is "God Requires", with the Scripture coming from Numbers 20:1-13. God requires the leaders of His people to follow Him fully. God as Father reigns with providential care over His universe, His creatures, and the flow of the stream of human history according to the purposes of His grace. The Children's lesson this week is "Zacchaeus", with the Scripture coming from Luke 19:1-10. The key point of this lesson reminds us that Jesus knows each of us by name and wants to have a relationship with us. Pastor Daniel Melton's sermon title is "Family Tree" and his Scripture reference is Matthew 1:1-17. Kara Smith leads the congregation and Adult Choir in worshiping God in song. Sunday night at 6:00 p.m. we will have our Church Christmas program. Our choirs will be singing as well as the choir from Cape Carteret Baptist Church. Our children will present the natavity. Join us - you will be blessed!
