Help us welcome our new Pastor!​

We are so excited to welcome our new Pastor and his wife, Chuck & Lisa Houston. Pastor Chuck and Lisa are grateful to be at First Baptist Church of Davis and are excited about what the Lord has in store as they serve together. They have one son and have also helped raise other children, including Capree and Colton. Lisa works in the medical field, and Chuck earned a Master of Theology from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Pastor Chuck has a heart for preaching God’s Word and shepherding the local church, having served in varied ministry roles for over 40 years. They are eager to walk alongside the church family as God continues His work at FBC Davis and look forward to getting to know both the congregation and the surrounding community. Pastor Chuck's first Sunday in the pulpit will be January 11, 2026.
